Abrams Family Respite

 Marc Abrams, age 36, has been treating for colorectal cancer since May 2008.  Marc, his wife, and their children traveled to the CFL home near Orlando, FL.

 CFL's Flip Flop Birthday Bash Raises $11,000!

Flip-Flop ButtonOn August 15th, CFL supporters gathered at Minmar Marine in Sea Isle City, NJ to wish CFL a Happy 10th Birthday.  Guests browsed the tombola raffle and silent auction items, had a delicious dinner and sang Happy Birthday to CFL under a starlit sky.  Children were transformed into butterflies, cats, dogs and other magical creatures by talented facepainter, Karen Dinan.  Read more.

This year runners in the 2009 Captain Bill Gallagher 10 Mile Run were able to fundraise for CFL.  Thanks to the dedicated efforts of many the event raised over $22,000 for the mission of CFL.  Many thanks to this year's runners:  Flyers Coach John Stevens, Justin Stevens, Marci Schankweiler, Jim Mahoney, Morrie Ledwith, Joey Herzog, Drew Maginnis, James Gambino, Craig Hamilton, Morrie Ledwith, Brendan Lake, Stephen Kelly, Doug Kelly, Gillian DiMarzio, Megan Waddington, Ed Waddington, Kathy Waddington, Tim McNamara, Craig Benton, and John Washlick.
